apache2-prefork-dev software package provides Apache development headers - non-threaded MPM, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install apache2-prefork-dev
apache2-prefork-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the apache2-prefork-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep apache2-prefork-dev *
